Our federal debt is such a big number these days that an average human being cannot possibly conceive just how big it is. I've been trying to understand, by way of perspectives, how big the debt is and how it's increasing. Today I came up with a comparison that accomplishes that for me.
In the past 4 years they've been in charge of congress, therefore responsible for spending, taxing and debt, Democrats have added an amount to our federal debt that's getting close to $1,000 ... for every human being on the entire planet!
Problem is, it has to be paid for by less than half of Americans who work AND pay federal income taxes. How is that even possible? If that's not bad enough, the debt's still increasing at a record rate. OMG!
